John Tyce has spent most of his working life as an investment analyst
covering banks and financial companies. After leaving Manchester University
where he had been a Research Fellow in Monetary Economics, he trained as an
equity analyst at Phillips and Drew, later UBS.
John moved to Laing and Cruickshank where he became a partner. Later at
Nomura he became Head of European Research before moving to Societe Generale,
where he was the senior bank analyst in London.
John is currently Chairman of Blue Planet European Trust, a quoted Scottish
Investment trust.
